Instructions
Step 1
In a large stock pot, place the ham and cover it in cold water. Bring to a boil and continue to cook in boiling water for 1 hour. After boiling remove ham to a suitable work surface and trim off any dark skin.

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
Step 3
Score small squares in the top of ham.
Step 4
Sprinkle ham with brown sugar, cinnamon, and ground clove.
Step 5
Place in a roasting pan. Add the water to the pan. add more water to the pan if it evaporates during baking.
Step 6
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour if the ham is precooked; 2 hours if not precooked
