Jalapeño popper mummies
If your not a jalapeño fan swap them for mini sweet peppers!
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 washed jalapeños
1 package Crescent roll dough
Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise. Use a spoon to remove the seeds and the veins set aside. In a bowl combine cream cheese shredded cheese and salt. Spoon mixture into jalapeño boats. Slice Crescent roll dough into strips and wrap around jalapeño boats to create mummies leaving space for eyes. Place on a baking sheet sprayed with nonstick spray and bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown add candy eyeballs after baking and serve.
