Ingredients
6 servings
1 PoundRotini
Box, cooked according to package, rinsed and cooled
6slices bacon
cooked and crumbled
1 cupcherry tomatoes
halved
10 OunceRomaine Lettuce
Chopped
1 cupcubed cheddar cheese
1 TablespoonChives
Chopped, or Green Onion
½ cupmayonnaise
0.33 CupMilk
or Buttermilk
1 TablespoonVinegar
IF using milk
1 clovegarlic
finely minced
2 teaspoonsdried parsley
or fresh parsley chopped, optional
Instructions
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the noodles, bacon, cherry tomatoes, romaine lettuce, chives and cheese. Toss well.
Step 2
In a small bowl combine the milk and vinegar and let sit for one minute.
Step 3
If using buttermilk, you can skip step 2.
Step 4
Add the mayonnaise, garlic and parsley to the milk and mix to combine.
Step 5
Pour desired amount of dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
