Instructions
Step 1
Season beef with salt and pepper to taste. Toss with 1 tbsp flour.
Step 2
In medium bowl wish together broth, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste and remaining flour.
Step 3
Place onions and oil in bowl and microwave covered high 10 minutes.
Step 4
Place beef in slow cooker and cover with onions. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5
Add beef broth mixture, potatoes, carrots, garlic, and thyme. Cover and cook low 8 hours.
