Ingredients
4 servings

3 tspolive oil
divided

1 lb93% lean ground turkey
or chicken

4 Tbsphoisin sauce
to taste, I used Lee Kum Kee

1 Tbspsoy sauce
low-sodium or regular

2 tspsriracha
optional

1 Tbsprice vinegar

1 ½ tspsesame oil

1 tsphoney

1 Tbspfresh garlic
minced

1 Tbspfresh ginger
peeled and minced

½ cupcarrot
medium, peeled and shredded

1 x 8 ozcan water chestnuts
drained and chopped small

1 headBibb lettuce
or iceberg lettuce
Instructions
Step 1
Cook ground turkey.
Step 2
Whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, sesame oil and honey.
Step 3
Move the cooked turkey to one side of the pan, then saute veggies.
Step 4
Add water chestnuts along with that hoisin mixture then warm through.
Step 5
Serve in lettuce leaves.
