Step 1
Bring 2 cups of water to boil in a sauce pan and boil the gnocchi for two minutes then remove from the pan.
Dump the water and put the garlic cloves, onion, and beef stock, 1/2 the butter in the pan. Saute until butter is fully melted and put the cooked gnocchi into the pan until gnocchi is golden brown on each side. Sprinkle black pepper over the top.
Stir often and turn off when done.
Take Flank Steak and cut into thin strips. Once it is all cut, put the butter, basil and some of the parmesean then cook the flank until it not red anymore. DO NOT OVER COOK. As soon as it is not red anymore, stop cooking.
Don't need to mix in the pans. Scoop gnocchi into a bowl and top with the meat. Then sprinkle with parmesean.
