Heath Chocolate Chip Cookies

6 steps
Prep:30minCook:15min
I call this the "Perfect Cookie" because it is soft and has that amazing crust to hold up this cookie. I have recently started getting into baking because I find that you have to be exact when it comes to measuring but it has been fun experimenting so far and I have made some great desserts so far. I have never made chocolate chip cookies as I thought they would have been hard to execute into a cookie that I liked but this actually turned out great and definitely was a hit to everyone. A good thing about having the right dough is being able to make it into any cookie that you would like by adding any chocolate of your choice. I went with heath toffee bits and semi-sweet chocolate chips as I recently tried them. So let me know if you have tried to make it and share your experience making them.

Step 2
Start by adding the dry mixture of flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder into a bowl.
Step 3
In a large bowl, add both white and brown sugar along with the softened butter and mix till it appears as a crumble consistency. Once that is done add one egg at a time and vanilla extract and mix.

Step 4
Once you have a wet and dry mixture, add about half of the flour mixture into the wet mixture and mix till well combined.
Step 5
Add in your chocolate chip and heath toffee bits into the bowl or your chocolate of choice and add the rest of the flour until you have a fully combined cookie dough that can easily be rolled into a dough.
Step 6
To get evenly cut and circular cookies, I weighed out each one to 44 grams to make 24 cookies and roll them into a ball and evenly distribute them onto parchment paper on top of a tray pan. Place in the oven for 15 minutes and the cookies will be done.
