Instructions

Sauce

Step 1
Add cardamom and onion to the pan with oil and stir fry until they turn translucent. Then add ginger paste.
Step 2
Next add tomatoes and salt, saute for 3 minutes and then cover and cook until onion and tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
Step 3
Add garam masala, coriander powder, cashew nuts, red chilli powder and sugar. Stir fry this for around 3 minutes.

Paneer

Step 4
Heat butter in a pan then saute ginger garlic paste with the cubes of paneer.
Step 5
Stir in the masala sauce, add some water then cook covered on medium heat until it reaches a thicker consistency.
Step 6
Crush kasuri methi in your palm and sprinkle into the sauce. Mix and cook on a low heat.
Step 7
Pour some cream into the sauce and stir.
Step 8
Serve with rice and naan
