Let your heart be light. I love cooking for my family during the holidays. I think Dutch babies might be served every Christmas morning from now on. The vegetable/cheese one was even better. 🎥: Asst. 👩🏻‍🍳: heading into *update* THE RECIPE: (3-4 servings) For pan: 4T unsalted organic butter For blender: 3 large eggs, at room temperature ½C unbleached all-purpose flour ½C whole milk, at room temperature 1T organic sugar & a pinch of nutmeg 👉 preheat oven to 425° F Place butter into 10-inch cast iron skillet. Place the rest of the ingredients into a blender and blend well. Put the skillet into the oven and watch until the butter is completely (just) melted. Right when it is, pull out the skillet & pour in the batter. Bake for 20 min, when it is poofy & golden. Lower oven temp down to 300° for 5 minutes longer. Pull out of the oven, as above! 😆 🍽️ Top with: fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, maple syrup, berries, confectioners' sugar (or cinnamon sugar). Also pictured & used for topping: candied cranberries.

👉 preheat oven to 425° F
Step 3
Place butter into 10-inch cast iron skillet. Place the rest of the into a blender and blend well. Put the skillet into the oven and watch until the butter is completely (just) melted. Right when it is, pull out the skillet & pour in the batter. Bake for 20 min, when it is poofy & golden. Lower oven temp down to 300° for 5 minutes longer.

🍽️ Top with fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, maple syrup, berries, confectioners' sugar (or cinnamon sugar).
