Step 1
Start by combining your wet ingredients (eggs, milk, vanilla) and mix until well combined.

In a separate bowl, combine your dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, baking powder) and whisk together.

Let the batter rest for 15-20 minutes before frying.

While the batter rests, roll your ham and swiss cheese into large flour tortillas. Burrito Style.

Heat your vegetable oil to 350F in a deep pan.

Into the rested funnel cake batter, dip the "burritos" into it, and make sure to coat all sides. Then, place those gently into your hot oil, frying both sides until golden brown.

Be mindful of your oil temperature. Once they are golden brown, remove them from the oil and place them on a cooling rack or paper towel to drain the excess oil.

While they are still warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve with your favorite jam or jelly. Enjoy!
