Fillet steak in air fryer

This is more about the cooking of the steak in an air fryer rather than a recipe. an air fryer will not give you classic crunchy hard skin out side your steak from a BBQ. But it will give you tender and succulent meat inside that can be warmed up and remain tender.

Instructions

Step 1
Take your steak out of packaging and rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
Step 2
After 30 minutes brush all over with olive oil and season.
Step 3
Heat the air fryer on 200 for 5 mins. When ready add the steak and cook for 5 minutes or under for rare or 6-7 minutes for medium rare as in the photo. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving but if you need it hot a wizz in the microwave will warm it up without losing too much of the tenderness.
