Garlic Confit
This makes soft, easily spreadable garlic cloves, plus herb infused oil you can use when you cook!

Step 1
Preheat oven to 200 degrees F.

Step 2
Peel garlic cloves and cut root end off. Add to casserole dish.
Step 3
Tie together a couple sprigs of Rosemary and Thyme, add to casserole dish.
Step 4
Cover garlic cloves with your favorite neutral oil such as grapeseed or avocado. Olive oil is fine but is usually not a neutral flavor. But use what you like!
Step 5
Bake in oven for two hours. Let cool, then remove herbs. Store garlic cloves, in the oil, in a jar. Good for a couple weeks refrigerated, but they won't last that long!
