Instructions
Step 1
Spray inside of 3.5 quart or larger slow cooker.
Step 2
Place onion evenly in bottom of slow cooker. Top with layers of carrots, celery, potatoes and meat; sprinkle with thyme. Pour undrained tomatoes and water over meat.
Step 3
Cover; cook on Low 8 to 10 hours or high 4-5 hours or until meat is tender.
Step 4
Stir in tomato paste; cover. Cook 10 minutes longer.
Step 5
Note: I made this in the pressure cooker, combined all ingredients except tomato paste. Pressure cook on high 30 mins, then stired in tomato paste.
