Step 1
Wash the rice with warm water for 3-4 times and rinse
Soak the rice in water for 20-30 mins.
Remove all the water from the rice. In a cooking pan, take ghee and let it warm up
Add tej patta, star anise, jeera, green cardamom, whole black pepper and cloves
Add Salt and 2 cups of Water
Bring the water to a boil
Add the soaked rice
Cover the pan and cook it for 10 mins
Stir the rice using a fork
Cover the pan and cook it for 2-5 mins as needed.
