Instructions

Step 1
In a large pot, saute onion in oil over medium high heat until translucent.
Step 2
Add rice, chicken bouillon, and season salt to the pan and cook until rice is slightly golden.
Step 3
Add tomato sauce and water. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low.
Step 4
Simmer for 45 minutes (1 hour 20 minutes for brown rice) or until rice is tender.
