Step 1
Season chicken and fry in the oil until brown on all sides - set aside
Add the onions and celery to the pan and fry for 3-4 mins
Stir in garlic and paprika and fry for 30s
Pour in sherry, stock, tomatoes and puree and bring to the boil.
Add chicken, chickpeas and sage - season well.
Cover and bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer for 30 mins.
Remove lid and simmer for 15 mins more.
Serve with green veg. Freezes well.
