Instructions
Step 1
In a small sauce pot combine the stock and saffron, bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer to allow the saffron to steep.
Step 2
In a large deep skillet with a lid or a Dutch oven heat Cut the chorizo or sausage on the bias and render and brown for 2 minutes. Stir in the mushrooms, onions them and add the thyme and paprika. Put a lid on the pot and increase the heat to soften the vegetables. Then add in the saffron broth.
Step 3
While vegetables soften, Make the Dumplings. Add flour and milk in a bowl, stir until incorporated. Turn out on a floured work station. Knead 4 or 5 times, then roll out 1/8" thickness.
Step 4
Cut into Dumplings and add them 1 at a time to the broth, stir, bring to boil, Cover with tight fitting lid, decrease to simmer until Dumplings are done to your liking. WATCH ME ON YOUTUBE💚👩🏽🍳
