3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Pour in the coconut sugar and continue to simmer, stirring often, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture turns a deep golden brown, 5 to 10 minutes.

4. Immediately pour the mixture over the Ritz crackers, using a spatula to spread it out evenly.
