1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Place the Ritz crackers in an even layer on a parchment paper lined baking tray.

3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Pour in the coconut sugar and continue to simmer, stirring often, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture turns a deep golden brown, 5 to 10 minutes.

4. Immediately pour the mixture over the Ritz crackers, using a spatula to spread it out evenly.

5. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes, then remove and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the sauce in an even layer.

6. Place back into the oven for 1 to 2 more minutes. Using a spatula, spread the melted chocolate over the caramel sauce. Place in the freezer to solidify then break into pieces and enjoy!
