Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 (cook 20 to 30)
Step 2
Mix dry ingredients; work in cold butter; add beaten egg and vanilla
Step 3
Press dough onto cookie sheet (it will be sticky)
Step 4
Slice apples thinly and place in layers (line dough with thing slices); sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon; top with dabs of butter
Step 5
After done sprinkle with lemon juice and water
