Instructions
Step 1
Mix salt, baking powder and four by hand
Step 2

Add 1/3 of a cup of shortening and mix together by hand till shortening is broken up
Step 3

Slowly add 1 cup and maybe a 1-2 tbs of boiling hot water and knead dough together until you form a ball
Step 4

Pinch off a ball of dough and form it into a flat circle
Step 5

Add Flour to your rolling pin and cutting board before rolling out the dough
Step 6

Roll out dough from the middle outwards, turning the dough when it feels like it isn’t stretching anymore
Step 7

Once dough is shaped into a good size tortilla cook on a hot comal
