Step 1
Chop onion and peel carrots
Step 2
Sautee carrots, basil, onions in oil until softened
Step 3
Add tomatoes and puree and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 4
Remove from heat, blend with immersion
Step 5
Return to heat, add cream. Salt and pepper to taste
