Preperations
Step 1
Slice the meat
Peel and chop the onions
Peel and chop the tomatoes
Seed the green sweet peppers and cut them into julienne strips
Method
Step 2
Brown the meat in heated oil in a heavy-based saucepan.
Step 3
Add the onions and sauté until translucent.
Step 4
Add the heated stock, seasonings, tomatoes and tomato paste.
Step 5
Cover with the lid, reduce the heat and simmer for 1½-2hours or until the meat is tender.
Step 6
Add the sweet peppers and simmer for a further 15minutes.
Step 7
Thicken the sauce with the flour mixed to a paste with water. Remove from the stove and add the sour cream.
