Instructions

Step 1
Get the beef ready: Add salt and pepper to the thinly sliced meat. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the steak until it is browned all over. After taking the steak out of the skillet, place it aside.
Step 2
Cook the Vegetables: Put the leftover tablespoon of olive oil in the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, and cook until the onion is transparent. Sliced mushrooms should be added and cooked until they are soft and have lost their moisture.
Step 3
To prepare the sauce: Sprinkle the flour on top of the onions and mushrooms and toss to mix. To prevent lumps, add the beef broth gradually while stirring continuously. Add Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard and stir. After bringing the liquid to a simmer, allow it to slightly thicken.
Step 4
Mix Beef and Sauce: Put the cooked beef back in the skillet and stir to spread the sauce over it. Stir in the sour cream after lowering the heat to low. To avoid curdling, heat thoroughly but do not boil.
Step 5
Cook the Noodles: Prepare the egg noodles per the directions on the package while the sauce is boiling. After draining, set away.
Step 6
Serve: Place the cooked egg noodles on top of the beef stroganoff. Add some chopped parsley as a garnish.
