Instructions
Step 1
Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high. Add asparagus and boil until crisp tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and rinse under cool water. Pat dry
Step 2
Combine avocado, buttermilk, half of the basil, half of the chives, goat cheese, vinegar, white pepper, salt and sugar in a blender and process until smooth
Step 3
Arrange asparagus on a platter. Top with dressing, remaining basil, chives and black pepper
