Instructions
Step 1
On medium-low heat, warm up some olive oil

Add onion and a generous amount of salt. Cook for 10 minutes or until soft

Add the garlic and if using, the chilli flakes and cook for 1 more minute

Stir the tomatoes, anchio
Step 5
Stir the anchovies, tomatoes, olives and capers into the onion
Step 6
Simmer and cook, uncovered, for 15 minutes
Step 7
Season to taste
Step 8
Bring a large pan salted water to boil
Step 9
Cook the spaghetti, following the pack instructions
Step 10
Drain the pasta once cooked
Step 11
Toss the pasta in the sauce and add parsley. Toss again
