Instructions
Step 1
In big heavy bottom pot, melt butter on low heat (2) and simmer the onions for a couple of minutes.
Step 2
Add in celery and carrots. Simmer for a few minutes to help soften.
Step 3
Add in cream of chicken, chicken broth, and a little milk. Keep on low heat and bring to simmer.
Step 4
Let simmer for 5 minutes or so and then, stir in the shredded chicken.
Step 5
Open the biscuits and cut into 4s or 5s and toss the dough in flour. You want them lightly covered. Then add into soup all at once and let the whole pot simmer for about 8-10 minutes, stirring every few minutes to evenly cook the dough.
