Instructions

Step 1
Cook your macaroni Al dente which literally means “firm” and drain.
Step 2
Add butter to a 12 in pot, as soon as butter melts whisk in flour. Continue whisking until flour is fully mixed with butter. Then cook for about a minute to get rid of the flour taste.

Slowly add milk a little at the time, followed by the half and half and heavy whipping cream; you do not want the mixture to form any lumps. Simmer for about 3-5 minutes until mixture thickens slightly.
Step 4
Add seasonings, onion and garlic powder, creole seasoning, sugar and cayenne pepper.
Step 5
Bring to a simmer and let it simmer gently for about 2 minutes. At this time start adding all of your cheeses reserving about 4 cups of your Sharp Cheddar cheese for the topping.
Step 6
Now drain your noodles and add a stick of melted butter and the whipped eggs to your noodles and mix. Now add your cheese mixture to your noodles and mix and even out in pan.

Top with your remaining cheese and bake on 350 for 45-50 minutes or golden brown and bubbly. Please allow your baked macaroni and cheese to cool for at least 15 mins.
