French Onion mince and rice

Easy and quick with plenty of variables. Serve with rice or mash or just the mince alone! Add in any vegetables, like potatoes! Add more or less stock for how juicy you like it. This is a base recipe that can be built on however you like.

Instructions

Step 1
Cook desired amount of rice in rice cooker
Step 2
Steam 1-2 cups frozen vegetables in pots
Step 3
Spray fry pan with oil and add small knob of butter once heated
Step 4
Cook diced onion in the butter and add garlic once cooked
Step 5
Add beef mince to onion, garlic and cook until all browned
Step 6
And packet mix and stir through then add stock
Step 7
Add in cooked vegetables and let simmer for 5mins approx
