Break the eggs and whisk them, Add the sugar one bit at a time until is melted.

Melt the butter.

Add the butter to the eggs and whisk.

Slice half apple in cubes and add it to the mixture. Use a spatula to mix all the ingredients.

Add the almonds and some cinnamon too. Mix.

The last thing to add is the baking powder. Add it and mix gently with a spatula from the bottom to the top.

Preheat the oven at 180°C. Coat the baking pan (24cm diameter) with butter (melted) and flour it too.

Thinly slice the apples and gently layer them on top of the mixture.

Sprinkle with some brown sugar.

Ease down the mixture of your cake in the baking pan and bake it in the oven for 45/55 minutes depending on your oven.
