Step 1
1) Place 8 oz elbow macaroni in the Suvie starch strainer set within the Suvie pasta pot (green handles). Cover pot with lid and place inside the Suvie Starch Cooker, ensuring the pot is centered on the hot plate. Input settings and cook now or schedule. 2) Meanwhile, heat 2 tsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add 1 cup yellow onion, ½ cup red bell pepper, ½ cup celery, and ½ tsp kosher salt, and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 6 minutes. Add 1 lb ground beef and ½ tsp kosher salt, and cook until browned, but not cooked through, about 4 minutes, breaking up beef into smaller pieces.

3) In a Suvie pan, stir together beef and vegetable mixture, 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can fire roasted tomatoes, and 1 tsp hot sauce. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie, input settings and cook now or schedule. Suvie Cook Settings Bottom Zone: Roast at 400°F for 20 minutes Top Zone: None

4) Remove pan from Suvie. In a large bowl, stir together elbow macaroni and beef sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper, divide between bowls, and serve.
