Step 1
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. In a bowl or in a stand mixer, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until the mixture whitens. Then add the melted butter, milk, almond powder, flour, and baking powder.

Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold them into the mixture.

Divide the batter into two bowls: in the first bowl, add the vanilla sugar and vanilla extract, and in the second bowl, add the cocoa powder. Gently mix each batter.

Preheat the oven to 170°C. Butter and flour a cake pan, then pour the batters alternately, creating layers. To create beautiful marbling, gently run a knife or a pointed stick through both batters.
Step 5
Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Check the cake's doneness by inserting a knife blade into it, it should come out clean.
Step 6
Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool on a rack. And it's ready, enjoy!
