peeled, cut into bite-size
2chicken breast
cut into bite-size
2 Tbspsake
salt
pepper
6 Tbsppotato starch
Sauce
4 Tbspsake
4 Tbspmirin
2 Tbspsoy sauce
2 Tbspoyster sauce
1 tspTobanjyan
2 tspgarlic
minced
2 tspginger
grated
2 tspsweet bean sauce
Tenmenjan
4 tspsugar
2 tspsesame oil

Instructions
Step 1
Peel gobo, slice, soak them in water for about 15 minutes.
Step 2
Season bite-size chicken with salt, pepper, and sake.
Step 3
Coat chicken with potato starch.
Step 4
Meanwhile, combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl, and set aside.
Step 5
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add chicken, and cook until browned on both sides for about 8 minutes.
Step 6
Transfer chicken to a plate, and set aside.
Step 7
In the same skillet over medium heat, add gobo and cook for about softened.
Step 8
Return chicken to the skillet, pour the sauce, and coat chicken and gobo with the sauce.
Step 9
Serve with sliced basil and sesame.
