Instructions

Step 1
Peel and slice potatoes and shallot with knife or mandolin.
Step 2
Grease baking dish with butter and sprinkled the bottom of the dish with the minced garlic.
Step 3
In a bowl, through whisk the cream with the pepper and nutmeg until thickened but not whipped.
Step 4
In the buttered dish layer potatoes shallots and cream, about two or three layers. Top with cheese.
Step 5
Bake in toaster oven at 400 degrees for 1 hr. or until potatoes are tender and top is golden brown.
Step 6
Let cool for about 10 minutes before serving. Serve with roast chicken and a mixed salad for a nice meal. Enjoy!
