Silky French Pastry Cream (Thermomix)

This delicious pastry cream can be used as a pudding or filling for your favorite pastries. The recipe is made with the Thermomix it's like an extra pair of hands in the kitchen plus it replaces various kitchen appliances. It's my favorite kitchen tool!

Instructions

Step 1
Add all ingredients except vanilla and butter to bowl. Start **Thicken/212F**
Step 2
Transfer the mixture to a clean bowl and whisk gently to cool the mixture down slightly. Let it sit for a few minutes.
Step 3
Whisk in the vanilla and then the butter, a couple of pieces at a time, until completely incorporated.
Step 4
Cover the pastry cream with parchment paper touching the surface to prevent a skin forming, allow it to come to room temperature and then refrigerate until ready to use.
Step 5
Use as pudding or filling for your favorite pastries.
