- Add butter, salt, pepper and flour to a small pot. Over medium heat bring up to a simmer stirring constantly. - Simmer for 2 minutes to cook the flour. - Reduce heat and add milk. STIR continuously on low heat until thick. - Remove from heat and add shredded cheese. - Stir until smooth - Serve hot and enjoy!
