Instructions
Step 1
Peel and finely dice carrot and onion
Step 2
Grate half of the chestnut mushrooms
Step 3
Slice all other mushrooms
Step 4
Peel and finely chop or grate garlic
Step 5
Add everything to slow cooker and crumble in stock cubes
Step 6
Add tomato paste, soy sauce, Hendersons relish, balsamic vinegar and 250ml boiled water to slow cooker
Step 7
Add a pinch of salt, 1tsp sugar and generously season with pepper
Step 8
Cook on low for 4 hours
Step 9
Cook linguine separately
Step 10
Serve and garnish with grated cheese
