½ tspground cumin

½ tspground cinnamon

¼ tspground turmeric

¼ tspground fennel seeds

1 cupdried red lentils

400gdiced tomatoes

Instructions
Step 1
In a large pan, heat 1 cup of the broth over medium-high heat. Add the onion, garlic and pepper. Cook until slightly softened, about 5 minutes,




Step 2
Add the ginger, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, turmeric and fennel seeds; then stir in the lentils, tomatoes and remaining 4 cups of broth.









Step 3
Bring to a boil. Lower the heat to a simmer, cover, and cook until the lentils are soft, 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 4
Add the savory spice blend and stir in the baby greens, simmering until wilted.
