Instructions

Step 1
Mix together: flour, baking powder, and salt

Step 2
Put butter and water in a microwave-safe container and melt until warm and butter is dissolved

In a large bowl - while still warm - mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients just until dough is formed
Step 4
Next, shape into ball and cover with plastic wrap.
Step 5
Allow the dough to rest, covered, for 10-15 minutes
Step 6
Place the dough on a lightly-floured surface, then use a sharp knife to separate into smaller, equal-sized pieces - cutting the dough like a pizza
Step 7
Lightly knead each piece into a small ball (be careful not to over-knead!) and place back into the bowl
Step 8
Cover with plastic wrap and allow the dough to rest for 10 more minutes
Step 9
On a lightly-floured surface, roll dough until thin. **Turn and flip often while rolling, and be sure to keep remaining balls covered as you roll!
Step 10
Heat skillet over medium heat, then place tortilla in skillet: Flip once after bubbles form! Cook for an additional 30 seconds, then flip one more time. Remove after 5-10 seconds.
