Wisconsin Fudge

3 steps
Prep:30min
12/23: Made 1/2 batch. Regular mixer works. 12/22: Made 1/2 batch without nuts. Formed on a foil-sprayed pan. After cooling, cut and put into candy paper cups (found at Dollar Store).. This makes A LOT of fudge. Can do half. Freezes well. Best stored cold. Made most years since 1999.

Instructions

Step 1
Prepare a LARGE foil-lined and buttered pan for a full batch. Can do in 9x13 for half batch (line so you can take it all out of the pan when done - easier to cut).
Step 2
Soften Velveeta and butter to ALMOST completely melted stage in microwave (about 70 sec). Cream butter and cheese. Mix in remaining ingredients (use a bread dough mixer). Spread in prepared pan. Refrigerate. Best to cut and then store in refrigerator or cold garage.
Step 3
Note: to cut, spray serrated knife with nonstick oil. Wipe off knife frequently and respray.
