WIC Approved Broiled Grapefruit and Granola Clusters

I use these clusters for everything. Even as a “cookie” snack for my kids. This combination is selfishly only for me though. So fresh and delicious, it’s a great breakfast anyday. Cost of non-wic items: $15.24

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325.

Mix all cluster ingredients in a large bowl. Making sure all the oats are fully coated.

Spread out evenly onto a greased and lined sheet pan. Bake until you see the edges browning. Between 20-25 minutes.

Let cool before breaking into smaller pieces.
Grapefruit

Turn your broiler to 500. Let heat up for a few minutes.
Step 6
Cut a piece of the peel off on either side so there is a flat surface for the grapefruit to stand on. Do not cut into the fruit for this step!

Then cut your grapefruit in half. Sit it up so the inside is facing up.
Step 8
Sprinkle on 2 tbsp brown sugar per slice. Lightly press down so it’s even.
Step 9
Place your halves in a small pan and cook for 2-4 minutes. Watch closely so it doesn’t burn.

Serve with yogurt and clusters.
