Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F

Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Using lg. bowl, beat together butter, sugar, eggs, peppermint extract, & almond extract until

In med. bowl, whisk four & baking powder together. Gradually beat into wet ingredients until dough forms.
Step 4
Using lg. scoop, scoop out dough into hand; roll each into a ball
Step 5
Spray bottom of flat cup; dip into 1C sugar; press cup into each dough ball & gently flatten into a thick disk.
Step 6
Bake 1 tray at a time in oven (11 min.)
Step 7
Remove & cool completely
Frosting
Step 8
Beat all ingredients except candy canes until combined & creamy. Scoop into piping bag.
Step 9
Pipe a spiral shape onto top of cookies; sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.
Step 10
Allow frosting to harden slightly (1 hr.) before enjoying.
