Instructions
Step 1
Peel then cut daikon into small match stick pieces
Step 2
Combine carrots & daikon and add salt. Let this sit for about 20 minutes then rinse with cold water.
Step 3
Combine sugar with hot water and let this dissolve and then cool.
Step 4
Pour the mixture over the daikon and carrots, then pour in the vinegar.
Step 5
Refrigerate for 4 hours before serving.
