Instructions

Step 1
Grate the potatoes, rinse well of starch, and drain/pat dry as well as possible.
Step 2
Grate onion into potatoes.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix in spices and green onions to potato-onion mixture.
Step 4
Add egg, cornstarch and flour, stir and adjust dry ingredients until "batter" is thick and not too wet. Add fried onions.
Step 5
Cook small patties of mixture at 6 (medium high) in leftover bacon grease or oil.
Step 6
Cool on cooling rack over paper towels to absorb excess grease.
Step 7
Warm leftovers in air fryer.
