Instructions
Step 1
(Optional) Combine 1/4 teaspoon baking soda with 1 tsp water and mix into ground beef. Let sit for 20-30mins

Brown meat with salt and pepper

Add onions and peppers and sweat followed by garlic

Add meat back to pot

Add all ingredients and simmer for a couple hours
Step 7
Cool and cover with Saran wrap in fridge overnight

Place back on stove and simmer for several hours, reduce liquid to desired consistency

Serve with shredded cheddar, onion, a sour cream
