Instructions
Step 1
Put all the ingredients for the short crust pastry in a food processor. Mix until you have a dough. Shape the dough flat and rectangular almost like a brick and cover it with saran wrap. Let it rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. In the meantime cook the apple on medium high adding the sugar, lemon juice, Amaretto di saronno and cinnamon. Roll the short crust pastry with rollin pin and just simply using 2 piece of parchment paper or saran wrap so it won’t stick to the rolling pin. Dont forget to sprinkle flour. Put the short crust pastry on your 10 round baking pan and with your hand shape it around the pan. Cook it like this for 20 minutes. In the meantime whisk the eggs with sugar and add almond flour, corn starch, corn flour, almond extract. Beat very well. When the crust is out of oven spread some jam and pour the apple in it. Cover the apple with the almond cream. When I roll out the short crust I left out few pieces and shaped out some hearts for the top. Bake it at 350 for 30 minutes (Check with toothpicks) Buon Appetito and don’t forget to add a sprinkle of love
