Cinnamon rolls

Cinnamon rolls are definitely my favorite sweet treat. They are super easy to make and perfect for fall weather when served warm. If you make bread regularly and love cinnamon, you probably have all the ingredients to make it. To make cinnamon rolls, you'll need the following ingredients. I used my bread machine to knead and proof my dough so as to get more use out of it.

Instructions

Step 1
Add all the dough ingredients to the bread maker (starting with the wet ingredients or according to your bread maker instructions) then select the dough function.
Step 2
Once it’s done mixing, leave it to proof till it beeps, then turn it out to a floured surface.

Roll the dough out into large rectangle.

For the filling, mix the cinnamon and brown sugar then set aside.
Step 5
Spread the softened butter over the dough sheet, then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on it.
Step 6
Roll it up into a tight log and cut into medium size discs with a knife or thin thread.

Place the cinnamon rolls in a buttered pan, cover and let proof for about 30-45 minutes. While they’re proofing, preheat your oven to 375F/190C.

Bake the cinnamon rolls for 20-30 minutes or until they’re golden brown.

To make the glaze, add all the glaze ingredients to a bowl and mix thoroughly with a hand mixer or by and then pour it into a squeeze bottle.

Glaze the rolls, serve warm and enjoy.
