Instructions
Step 1
Boil water and salt and pour over rice and let sit for 30 min
Step 2
Drain well and rinse with cold water and drain again
Step 3
Melt butter in pot or casserole dish, add rice and stirring cook over medium heat for about 5 min or until butter is mostly absorbed - Put in casserole dish, add garlic salt - it can be done ahead to this point)
Step 4
Pour chicken broth over rice and bake at 350, covered for 45 minutes, fluff with fork - sprinkle with toasted almonds and bake another 10 min uncovered.
