Instructions
Step 1
Add the stock cubes (both) garlic or onion salt and black pepper to the boiling water
Step 2
Melt the butter in a pan over a moderate heat
Step 3
Add the flour a teaspoon at a time, stirring constantly
Step 4
Add a little of the water to the pan as you continue to stir and add the flour (this cannot be rushed)
Step 5
Bring all ingredients together but do not boil
