Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Cream shortening and white sugar add brown sugar (may use less) and eggs. Beat well.
Sift, flour soda, salt, and baking powder.
Add to above mixture
Stir in oats and raisins
May add nuts if desired
Drop from teaspoon, I use a cookie scoop, 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 11-13 minutes.
Makes about four dozen cookies
