My shortcut version of her recipe using frozen French fries

Instructions

Step 1
Grown in Idaho Hand Cut Style Fries, 28 oz (Frozen)- follow instructions in back and use as much as you want for the dish...I used the air fryer so cooked for 12 minutes, shaking the basket at the half-way point at 360 temp.

While french fries are cooking, cook the beef on a cast iron pan on low/medium heat: sautee minced/ diced garlic in olive oil first
Step 3
Add 1 pound sliced beef (make sure you allow plenty of room in the pan to sautee the beef)

Add the 2 Tablespoons oyster sauce

Add the 1 Tablespoon Maggi
Step 6
Add tapioca starch/water slurry to thicken - make this ahead by adding 2 tsp tapioca/corn starch with water in small bowl - should be milk consistency - mix well again before adding to beef mixture...use more water to cornstarch ratio..if you want more gravy sauce...this is added towards the end of cooking to make the gravy
Step 7
Pour beef and gravy over air-fryer French fries to make like a poutine. Season with freshly ground pepper. Eat over rice.
